We fabricate what we sell

We are not a middleman passing your countertops to a stranger. Our own shop manager, production manager, and installation manager handle fabrication and installation, which means one company owns the quality of the finished product and there is nobody to point a finger at if something is off.

Complimentary consultation

The process begins with meeting you in the showroom, or at the job site if a site measure is needed. We talk through how you use your current kitchen, where traffic jams up, what never gets used, and who is really cooking. The goal of this first meeting is to determine the scope of work for the project.

Preliminary design and presentation

Once our designers have enough information, they create a preliminary design for the space, make material recommendations, and provide rough budget numbers.

This is where we test possibilities: moving the sink, adding an island, opening a wall toward the family room, rethinking where appliances land. Nothing is committed yet, so this is the moment to push back.

Ordering

Cabinetry usually carries the longest lead time, which makes it the most important item to finalize and order first. At this stage, final site measurements are completed, and appliance selections are locked in, since appliance dimensions drive the cabinet layout around them.

Countertop selection

At any point during the process, our showroom and slab yard are available for inspiration. We carry an endless selection of colors, and onsite you can choose from thousands of slabs in person.

Seeing a full slab matters, because a sample the size of a phone tells you almost nothing about how the veining will actually land on your island.

Install and follow up

Cabinet installation is where the room finally reads as a kitchen again, followed by countertop installation, flooring transitions, hardware, and appliance hookups.

MacLaren Kitchen and Bath stays in close contact with you throughout, and we follow up after the job to make sure you are settled in and satisfied from start to finish.

Cabinets

Semi-custom through fully custom cabinetry, in painted, stained, and inset door styles. We size storage to what you actually own, including deep drawers for pots and pull-outs that stop things from disappearing into the back.

Countertops

Islands and storage

An island earns its keep when it adds prep space, seating, and storage at once. We plan clearances first so the room still works when three people are in it.

Flooring and finishes

Flooring, backsplash, lighting, and the sink all get selected together so the finished space looks intentional instead of assembled from separate decisions.
