Cabinets provide both form and function. They are the heart of the space, affecting the entire look of the room. They also store the tools for cooking and entertaining as well as provide the base for counter space.

Cabinets can be found in many rooms, including:

• Kitchen Cabinets
• Bathroom Vanity Cabinets
• Built-In Cabinets
• Utility Room Cabinets
• Garage Cabinets, and More

The various options mean that almost any room can benefit from the addition of custom cabinets. They add additional storage and a refined appearance that adds value to your home.

Outdoor cabinets are another possibility and a valuable addition to an outdoor kitchen or entertaining space. We have options for cabinetry that will resist rain, UV rays, and extreme temperatures so that they can last for years outdoors.

Cabinets consist of the cabinet boxes – which serve as the frame – and have either drawers or shelving incorporated. A main benefit of designing your custom cabinets is the ability to select the layout of your kitchen or bathroom in a way that optimizes the available space in the way that will work best for you.

Your cabinetry layout can include:

• Base Cabinets – These cabinets sit directly on the floor and rise to 3 feet to provide the base for a countertop. They can have drawers or shelving.
• Island Cabinets – When incorporating a kitchen island into your layout, the island cabinets will provide the foundation for the island countertop while also offering additional storage and useful counter space.
• Full Height Base Cabinets – Prioritizing storage, these cabinets are installed on the floor and go to the ceiling, or the height of your wall mounted cabinets. They are often used as pantry cabinets or can be installed around appliances to give them a more built-in look.
• Wall Cabinets – These cabinets are mounted on the wall above your countertops. They have less depth than base or full height cabinets to create more space for those working in the kitchen.

When selecting from these options, we will guide you through different considerations. These will include the dimensions of your current or planned appliances, needed counter space versus needed storage space, and the types of items you will be storing inside your cabinets (with considerations based on how you use your space).

After we have finalized the layout, we work with you to make decisions on the cabinets’ appearance. Our cabinets are primarily made from woods such as:

• Maple
• Oak
• Walnut
• Cherry

Each of these woods has a natural coloring and grain that fits into traditional, Mediterranean, rustic, and other similarly styled kitchens. We also have additional cabinetry materials, including composites, that can be advantageous on a budget or when a specific functionality is needed.

Cabinet boxes can remain the original wood tone, but you also have the option to paint your cabinetry. White and various shades of grey can match with the majority of kitchens and countertops, but more vibrant colors such as black, blue, green, red, yellow, and more are becoming increasingly popular. Two-tone cabinets in which the base height or island cabinets are one color and the hanging cabinets another is another on-trend option for incorporating color.

Once your cabinet boxes are completed, the final look is based on the choices in door fronts, drawer fronts, hardware, and more. These can come in dozens of styles, colors, and shapes, all there to match your vision. We can also add lighting inside cabinets or create special features to help add value to the property.

The cabinets we offer are made by brands including Mouser Cabinets, Wolf Cabinetry, and Waypoint Cabinetry, among others. The variety of brands makes it possible to create custom cabinets that meet different requirements such as durability, affordability, luxury, eco-friendliness, and more. All meet our high standards for quality.

While cabinets may be core of the room, countertops are what tie all the looks together. Countertops provide valuable workspace, but are also a key element of the design in whichever room they are used.

To meet your needs for either purpose, you can select from a range of styles and materials to create custom:

• Kitchen Countertops – In the majority of kitchens, countertops are used daily will need to maintain their appearance through years of wear and tear. We offer countertops that can be luxurious, affordable, durable, or a combination of attributes while matching your design needs.
• Island Countertops – A kitchen island might be a work space, an entertainment space, and more. It will also be the focal point of many kitchens. We can help you choose the countertop and design elements that make an island countertop an attractive centerpiece to your kitchen.
• Vanity Countertops – Bathroom countertops top your vanity and provide a functional surround for any sinks. We can design vanity countertops to fit in any different sink set up and match with any tiling and fixtures in your bathroom.
• Outdoor Countertops – A countertop for an outdoor kitchen or bar needs to be resistant to damage from weather. Many of the materials we offer are suitable for outdoor use with little to no maintenance required.

A custom countertop can also be added to offices, utility rooms, living rooms, or entertainment areas either in conjunction with cabinetry or on their own as a unique tabletop.

The first choice for a custom countertop is the material. You will want a material that reflects your aesthetic preferences, but also one that meets any needs for durability, required upkeep, or initial cost.

Engineered countertops are an increasingly popular option. These consist of quartz countertops and solid surface countertops. Both are man-made by mixing various aggregates, polymers, and resins to create a smooth, non-porous surface.

By adding pigments and textural elements during the process, manufacturers can create quartz and solid surface countertops slabs that either imitate stone or incorporate a range of colors.

This has resulted in hundreds of slab options from manufacturers such as:

• Corian Quartz
• Corian Solid Surface
• Caesarstone Countertops
• Cambria Countertops

Besides the quartz and solid surface created by these manufacturers, we also have a variety of natural stone countertop options.

These include:

• Granite
• Marble
• Soapstone

Natural stone is one of the most popular materials for contemporary countertops with each type of stone offering its own unique colors, shades, movement, and texture. Even among stone slabs of the same type, every one is unique.

The color choices, finishing options, final touches depend largely on the base material. Some of the options you will have available to choose from include:

• Color and Texture – Granite, soapstone, and marble each come in a variety of colors and patterns based on the quarries they are mined from. As engineered stone, quartz and solid surface countertops are each available in colors that mimic natural stones or introduce vibrant shades not always possible with traditional stone.
• Finish – Depending on the material, countertops can be matte, low gloss, or high gloss. The texturing possible with some materials can give a 3-dimensional finish to the countertop. In addition to appearance, the finish often impacts the way a countertop wears and what kinds of maintenance are required.
• Edge Profile – We can carve stone and engineered materials into a variety of edge profiles to complement the design. These include the more standard options such as straight, rounded, and bullnose edges to the more customized ogee, waterfall, and beveled edges.
• Backsplash – Using the same material in your countertop to create a matching backsplash is becoming more popular. The backsplash can be of any height and lends cohesiveness to the kitchen or bathroom.

The combination of customization options enables us to help you design a countertop that fits a room’s style. We can achieve contemporary, modern, traditional, rustic, Mediterranean, and other styles, as well as matching cabinetry whether it is from MacLaren or another cabinet maker. We also provide countertop replacement services, including demolition.
