SPRINGFIELD, PA

When managing any remodel, there is more than just the design of your cabinets or countertops to consider. A remodel also requires delivery, installation, finishing, and more. If you have separate cabinet and countertop fabricators, the process gets even more complicated.

MacLaren Kitchen and Bath simplifies the process by handling almost every component from decision to install, all with the added advantage of our wide selection.

In addition to selecting from the different brands and designs, our process includes:

• Working with a Designer – In our design center, a designer will work one on one with you to discuss all the available options. Since they know our products and take time to understand your needs, they will integrate your ideas with informed recommendations.
• Fabricating Your Counters and Cabinets – With a design and the exact measurements of your room and appliances, our fabricators make your cabinets and countertops to your specifications. We are able to create countertops in-house with faster fabrication than traditional countertop contractors.
• Delivery and On Site Installation – We bring the completed cabinets and countertops to your Springfield property and complete the installation. We are licensed and insured for this process as well as experienced in safety and the precise adjustments that set custom cabinets and countertops apart from DIY options.

By keeping our process almost entirely in house with our own designers, countertop fabricators, and installers, we are able to complete orders quickly, often days or weeks faster than traditional contractors.

In addition to our residential work, many commercial properties require high quality countertops and cabinets. Custom and semi-custom elements are investments that improve the professionalism, comfort, and functionality of your property.

With our options at MacLaren Kitchen and Bath, we can work with your needs to design cabinets or countertops that meet any needs, including low maintenance, affordable, eye-catching, and even antimicrobial.

Our inventory includes cabinets and countertops for:

• Offices
• Hospitals and Medical Centers
• Schools
• Retailers
• Restaurants and Cafes

Although we are a family-owned business, we are not limited in terms of our capacity. Both our in-house countertop fabrication team and cabinetry partners can manage large scale projects and have the capability to create several separate countertops and cabinetry units for your commercial property.

Whether your needs are purely functional, you want cabinets that are the height of style, or you have another need, we have cabinetry solutions for you. We start the design process by getting to know your expectations for a remodel and determining which features are most important to you.

From there, we can create a layout plan for:

• Kitchen Cabinets
• Bathroom Cabinets
• Vanity Cabinets
• Office Cabinets
• Utility Room Cabinets
• Outdoor Cabinets, and More

We can design and manufacture cabinets to fit any space inside or outside your home. We have base cabinets, full height base cabinets, wall cabinets, island cabinets – all the different types of cabinets you may need to finish your project.

Selecting Options for Your Custom Cabinetry

At MacLaren Kitchen and Bath, we make sure to have many different options for your Springfield cabinet materials. Each of the various materials used in cabinet making provide certain advantages. Some offer better durability, specific coloring, a more affordable price, and more that help guide your decisions based on usage, cost, and more.

Our designers know the benefits of each material and can help you make a selection that is right in terms of more than just appearance.

Common cabinetry woods include:

• Maple
• Oak
• Cherry
• Walnut, and More

Color is also customizable. Natural wood color remains a popular choice for many kitchen styles, particularly in traditional, rustic, and Mediterranean kitchens, but current trends are also embracing the clean look of white or grey cabinets, and even more vibrant colors like blue. We can design cabinets in any color, and even combine two different colors for a two-tone scheme.

After material, we have a multitude of options for door fronts, ranging from simple to decorative.

Options include:

• Beveled Cabinets
• Beadboard Cabinets
• Slab Cabinets
• Shaker Cabinets
• Raised Panel Cabinets
• Glass Front Cabinets

Open shelving, or cabinets without doors or drawers, is another option that is growing in popularity in certain homes.

While material, color, and door styles are the most important parts of your cabinet design, the smaller features can really set them apart in form and function. Lighting, decorative hardware, interior shelving, and more, are available options from many of our cabinet manufacturers, and we can help you determine if any of these are a good choice for your home and budget.

The countertop of your kitchen or bathroom provides an essential area for cooking, entertaining, getting ready in the morning, and more. Your family and, depending on the location of the countertop, your visitors will see and interact with your countertop daily, so it is important to have a counter that will look attractive, fit the aesthetics of the space, and maintain its durability for years to come.

At MacLaren Kitchen and Bath, we design, fabricate, and install:

• Kitchen Countertops
• Bathroom Vanity Countertops
• Outdoor Countertops
• Replacement Countertops

It is possible to create countertops for other interior spaces as well. A custom countertop enhances utility and laundry rooms, entertaining spaces, offices, and other rooms.

We carry both natural stone slabs and engineered stone. The slabs come from brands like Caesarstone, Cambria, Corian, and others known for the quality and consistency of their stone.

We then fabricate each of our countertops in-house and enable you to choose from a range of options such as:

• Materials – We craft granite countertops, quartz countertops, marble countertops, soapstone countertops, and solid surface countertops. The various natural stones and engineered stones each bring their own advantages in terms of look, durability, maintenance requirements, and cost.
• Colors – The color possibilities depend on the material, but natural and manufactured slabs come in a range of earthy browns, whites, blacks, golds, and greys. Man-made stones have additional options with vibrant blues, reds, yellows, and greens and a range of aggregates for texture.
• Finishes – A polished countertop gives you a high gloss surface that reflects lighting and brightens a space. Honed finishes are more matte and reflect a softer light. Other finishing options vary by base material with leathered, semi gloss, and more as available options.
• Edges – The edge profile gives a shape to the borders of the slab. It is a more subtle detail, but an important one in the overall style. Our options include standards like straight edges, rounded edge, and bullnose edges, as well as more premium styles like ogee edges, coved edges, and waterfall edges.

When you design your countertops, there can be many other options depending on the brand or material you choose. Our team will walk you through every choice using their understanding of your specific needs and their years of design experience to help you plan the ideal countertop for your home.
