Your cabinets are fabricated by the brand you select or by small custom cabinet makers, many of whom are local. All of our external fabricators are known for quality and build your cabinets to the specifications in your approved plan.

• Installation – The final appearance of countertops and cabinets depends on the skill of the installers. Our expert installation team at MacLaren is licensed and insured and has been installing fixtures for years. They work with the same precision as our fabricators and will take care of any last-minute adjustments or finishing to make sure your kitchen or bathroom is perfect.

We also offer countertop replacement and bathroom remodeling in Upper Darby, with services that include demolition and removal of an existing countertop before we install the new one.

With countertop replacement, you can upgrade an older or out-of-date countertop or fix one that has received damage, all while keeping your cabinetry and appliances the same.

Our customized cabinets and countertops in Upper Darby, PA, are not limited to your kitchen. We can also apply this to your bathroom vanities during the remodeling project—MacLaren Kitchen and Bath will turn over the project in a timely manner.

A full set of cabinets is made from several smaller cabinet boxes. These boxes typically come in standard dimensions for height and depth. We combine the different box types to give you a specific layout, storage area, and outward appearance.

Our team can explain the different options in detail so you can gain the knowledge to make the best choice. With our solutions, you can transform your space into a more functional and stylish area.

The cabinet boxes we use in our designs include:

• Base Cabinets

• Full Height Base Cabinets

• Wall Cabinets

• Island Cabinets

• Vanity Cabinets

These various cabinet types most often form the basis of kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Yet with the right materials and elements, custom cabinetry will work in many spaces.

Office cabinets, pantry cabinets, living room cabinets, outdoor cabinets, garage cabinets, and more are potential solutions for expanding your organizational space or adding a decorative element to your home.

We chose the various brands we offer after significant research and hands-on experience to make sure that each is bringing something different to our inventory, alongside reliable quality.

This is what makes it possible for us to offer such a wide selection of cabinet styles at various price points. We are dealers for popular cabinet makers like Wolf Cabinetry, Waypoint Cabinets, Green Forest Cabinetry, and Mouser Cabinetry.

When our variety of semi-custom cabinets does not offer the exact design or features you have in mind for the finished product, we are also partnered with several independent cabinet makers.

We can consider fully custom cabinets with unique designs or materials when you want a design that is not already available from the brands in our showroom.

Kitchen countertops and cabinets are as much a design feature as they are a storage place. As 3-dimensional elements that can take up significant wall space, they will be a dominant feature in most rooms. That is why choosing the appearance is as important as selecting the right layout for your needs.

The design starts with color. Our cabinet makers, who create natural wooden cabinets, use high-quality materials that lend the beauty of natural wood grain to your kitchen.

This is ideal for a traditional kitchen, a rustic one, or even creative interpretations of modern or contemporary kitchens with the right wood stain.

The addition of color allows for cabinets that match even more styles. The most popular colors in today’s design world are:

• White

• Grey

• Blue

• Green

• Yellow

• Black

Another modern and trendy idea is two-tone cabinets. Kitchens with this color scheme use a darker color for lower cabinets and a lighter color or white for upper cabinets to create a dynamic look.

The shape of the cabinet door fronts plays an essential part in the cabinet’s style too. Our styles include:

• Slab Cabinets

• Shaker Cabinets

• Raised Panel Cabinets

• Beadboard Cabinets

A glass front door panel using either clear, frosted, or mullioned glass is also an option. These are most often incorporated into upper cabinets as a more decorative feature, although you can place them anywhere in your kitchen.

You can combine glass front cabinets with other elements, such as interior cabinet lighting, to give them an attractive backlit effect and make it easier to navigate your cabinets in dim lighting.

At MacLaren Kitchen and Bath, our inventory includes all the choices you need to design a countertop that is strong, low-maintenance, affordable, luxurious, or meets any other goal you have for your property.

We have everything you need to create the custom kitchen or bathroom countertops that match the look of the property, able to be customized down to the most specific colors and angles needed to perfect your final design.

Properties of all ages have primarily used natural stone as a countertop material for decades. Quarries cut the stone slabs directly from the earth, and each stone has color and veining specific to the region it came from. With natural stone, individual slabs are unique, reflecting their natural origin.

Of natural stone, granite countertops are the most popular natural stone counter for kitchens and bathrooms, although marble countertops and soapstone countertops offer attractive alternatives. All of these we carry right here at MacLaren, with a huge inventory to help you find what you need.

Still, one of the best things about countertops today is that we are no longer reliant on natural stone alone.

More and more homeowners are also using engineered stone for countertops. The most notable types are durable quartz countertops and solid surface countertops.

Man-made stone has a wider selection of colors and textures and offers certain benefits in terms of longevity, style, and maintenance, depending on the material.

We offer engineered stone countertops from brands like:

• Cambria Countertops – Producing quartz countertops made in America, Cambria offers dozens of different quartz designs. Quartz is nonporous, making these countertops durable, low-maintenance, and strong.

• Caesarstone Countertops – Caesarstone produces high-quality quartz countertops in a range of colors. Many of their hues imitate other natural stones like granite or marble, and they have a line of durable quartz countertops made specifically for outdoor settings.

• Corian Quartz Countertops – Another quartz manufacturer, Corian Quartz, provides a respectable 10-year warranty as an added guarantee for the longevity of this already durable material. Corian provides several options for light and dark quartz with both granular and veined textures.

• Corian Solid Surface Countertops – The original producer of solid surface, Corian, creates affordable solid surface countertops in hundreds of colors with finishes. Solid surface is relatively low maintenance and can easily be refinished.

For the majority of materials, you will further select a color choice. Engineered stones have hundreds of options for color and texture, letting you imitate other stones or make a bold statement with a uniquely colored countertop.

Natural stones like granite, marble, and soapstone have more standardized colors and veining, but with enough options to fit with any design.
